There are people you meet in life, that you instantly hit it off with. That's how I felt when I met these two for coffee so many months ago to chat about their upcoming wedding. The groom happens to be a childhood buddy of my very own sweet husband so I knew we were probably going to get along --birds of a feather and all. What I didn't anticipate was how much I would absolutely adore his bride-to-be! Kirsten exudes calm, cool and collected. She is the quintessential grace under pressure.

You'd be hard pressed to find a happier more relaxed bride, who also happens to have a type A, think-of-every-little-detail-for-her-spectacularly-beautiful-wedding, kind of personality! No one, and no small detail went unnoticed or un-thought of by her.

While Kirsten thinks of everything, do not for a second think that the groom was slacking in any way on this one. He was up at the venue bright and early working hard with friends and family to pull together the finishing touches, and with the most contagious smile on his face, before he headed back to the hotel to get dolled up himself.

I've only known Jared for a short time, and you may or may not agree with me if you know him personally but from my perspective one might be inclined to say that he has a bit of a tough guy image on any other given day. On this day however, I saw a man who was so completely devoted and overcome with love and adoration for his beautiful bride, that he could not contain himself enough to hold up the normal tough guy exterior.  

Smiling. More smiling. Giggling and joy...this was the epitome of Jared and Kirsten Josephson's wedding day. There are these little and big things that make every wedding special in its own unique way, and what stood out about the Josephson wedding was the immense amount of love & laughter...not only between the happy couple, but among their friends and family as well.

It was a perfect day. From the very start, when everyone was getting ready and even thru all the pre-ceremony nervousness, there was joking and laughing and moments of real friendship and love that filled the room. Kirsten and Jared and their family and friends are brimming with personality and were a big part of what made this wedding so memorable. Friends and family, the kind who are happy when you are happy and who are there to share in your biggest occasions and celebrate right by your side are a rare and precious gift, one that Jared and Kirsten clearly have.

To say the wedding party was humorous, would be an understatement! To say that they love Jared and Kirsten so much they would wear neck extenders in their shirt collar (lol) and sit thru hair and makeup for an hour when that's not exactly their cup of tea, would be an apt way to communicate just how much this couple is loved.

There was so much love present on this day, so much it permeated the bride and groom and best man and maid of honor and siblings and cousins and grandparents and parents and friends.  Thoughtful details that exemplified the kind of love that is shared between this couple and all who surround them were visibly present throughout the day and I hope that you can see & feel exactly what I did when you look through these photos. Thank you Kirsten and Jared for allowing me to be a part of such an important beautiful day in your lives!
